I am really enjoying reading the Wimble, it is giving lots of local information which hopefully will get more residents involved, it is a great place to live
Completely agree with the comments about needing more diverse food places including vegetarian and vegan ones. It’s all dominated by one cuisine style of cuisine and horrid fast food chains (though I really miss Island Poke!) It would be great to see actual shops too. When I first moved here there were independent clothing and shoe stores, and gift shops. And now the high street is all fast food, and the shopping centre is full of unaffordable gyms. It’s really quite sad. Wimbledon used to be a great place for a “one-stop-shop” day out. And now it’s not.
I was wondering about Island Poke too, but then I read something in The Caterer about them undergoing changes. I think they closed a few of their spots, annoyingly. I would love to see some interesting places opening up around the town centre too.
More vegetarian food. Really lacking in Wimbledon.
Agreed!

Thank you, Freda! We're trying to reach as many locals as possible!

Eddy wants less estate agents and asks why we have so many. Did he consider choice and competition work in our favour?
